Overview of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

Design

The design of the Jeep Gladiator hints that it has more of a recreational use than commercial jobs, and lots of the design aspects further prove its worth as a truck for weekend adventures around Waunakee. It has four doors and two rows of seats, and in the summer, you can take each of those doors off as well as the roof, an aspect it shares with the Wrangler, to breath in the fresh air of our beautiful state. The bed is five feet long and has a tire imprint in the bed liner to show where you can store your dirt bike when you're taking it out. Square tail lamps, round headlamps, and the seven-slot grill also give off that distinctive Jeep look that shows others that you mean business. Under-seat storage and several cabin configurations show the functionality of this truck, so any drive is easy to prep for.

The first Jeep Gladiator models will come with the tried and true 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gas engine, and Columbus, WI truck shoppers can choose between a manual or automatic transmission with it as well as two unique 4x4 systems. This engine gives the Jeep truck a towing capacity of 7,650 pounds and a payload capacity of 1,600 pounds, which lets you get your boat into the waters of Lake Mendota. If you prefer a diesel powertrain, there's a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine coming later. Drivers can enjoy comfortable cruising on highways or ease conquering the toughest off-road trails that you'll find around Wisconsin's capital, which you should expect from any Jeep on our car lot.

Technology

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is the first of its kind in a few ways, and that includes the number of new technologies that Fitchburg, WI drivers will get with it. There are aspects like the forward-facing trail cam that helps drivers when maneuvering around trail obstacles and others like a park assist system that can help when parking in the city. It has three available infotainment systems, including the new fourth-generation of the Uconnect program. When you get to your camping site, or as close as you can, a removable Bluetooth speaker lets you bring music with you. Drivers can also expect the help of safety tech like blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and more!
