2020 Jeep Gladiator: The Long Awaited Jeep Truck

The Jeep Legend Returns

After 26 years, Jeep announced the return of their Jeep truck. The 2020 Jeep Gladiator has a Jeep Wrangler front end but the back end of a truck. The roof is removable and the windshield can fold down flat, much like Jeep Wrangler models.

Capabilities of the new Jeep Gladiator

The new Jeep truck is rumored to have 33-inch tires and be able to carry 1,650 pounds and tow 7,650 pounds. Its capability is thanks to its 3.6-liter Pentastar “Upgrade” engine. It can produce around 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 3.0-liter EcoDiesel could also be available with this Jeep to give it 260 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.

The new Jeep Gladiator will have an available Rubicon trim that will offer off-road performance features that are sure to impress. These range from the Fox aluminum-bodied 2-inch-diameter shockers to the disconnecting front sway bar. It will sport about 11.1-inches of ground clearance to provide your truck with the space necessary to avoid jutting rocks and deep puddles.
